Diabetes Canada's Textile Collection Program

  • Largest textile recycler in Canada
  • 95% of all material collected is reused or re-purposed
  • 4000+ bins in Canada

On a yearly basis, Diabetes Canada collects and diverts over 100 Million Pounds of textiles, which generates approximately $5 million (Net) in support of our world-leading research, education, advocacy, and D-Camps for children with Type-1 diabetes.


Diabetes Canada D-Camps are designed to provide children living with Type-1 diabetes the opportunity to enjoy an authentic camp experience in a medically accommodating environment with a dedicated team of professionals.
